If you’ve been trying to sell your ebook or any digital product but all you get are random, inconsistent sales — or you’re still at the idea stage wondering “Will this even sell?” — this one’s for you.
By the end of this read, you’ll know the first and most important secret to making consistent digital product sales. So grab your tea (or coffee), because I’m about to spill some digital product truth you won’t hear anywhere else.
Hey, I’m Lilian Ritah — your digital product bestie.
I’ve been creating and selling digital products for over two years now — ebooks, toolkits, checklists, you name it. But more importantly, I’ve helped other creators turn what they already know into digital income.
My thing? Breaking complex stuff down into simple, practical steps that actually work.
So if you’re a beginner who’s tired of hearing “just post more” advice, welcome — you’re home.
And if you’re the type who loves to go deeper, check out the Digital Goldmine Club — that’s my newly launched Netflix-style membership where I teach full trainings and help you take action.

The harsh truth: posting won’t fix a weak idea
Let’s be real. Most people think they’re not selling because they’re not posting enough.
But here’s the truth: consistent sales don’t come from posting every day — they come from having the right foundation. You can post five times a day, but if your digital product idea is weak, you’ll just be shouting into the void.
That’s why I always say:
👉 Your idea can make or break your sales.
Your digital product idea is the foundation of everything else — your content, your marketing, your sales copy, all of it.
A strong idea makes your product an easy yes.
A weak idea? It keeps you stuck wondering, “Why isn’t anyone buying?”
Tip #1: Choose a Winning Digital Product Idea
So what exactly makes an idea “winning”?
Two things: Ease and Profitability.
1️⃣ It comes easy for you.
Your best digital product ideas come from your own life — your skills, stories, and experiences.
That’s what makes your content authentic and your product effortless to talk about.
Think about it — why copy someone else’s template pack or ebook when you already have real lessons, mistakes, and stories that no one else can replicate?
Two people can go through the same challenge, but walk away with completely different insights. That’s what gives your product its unique value.
💬 Example:
I teach people how to make money from digital products because I’ve lived it.
I’ve failed, learned, experimented, and built systems that work. So when I teach, it’s not theory — it’s experience.
If you asked me to create a “Meal Prep Toolkit,” it would flop — I’m not a nutritionist. But for someone who’s built a fitness journey or helped others eat better on a budget, that same idea could be gold — a profitable “Healthy Workweek Meal Prep System” with shopping lists, portion guides, and recipe templates people would actually pay for.
Or take a fitness enthusiast — what’s routine to them could become a digital guide on how to stay fit while working a 9–5.
Bottom line:
👉 What comes naturally to you could be the exact thing someone else is willing to pay for.
And if you’re stuck, totally blank, or swimming in too many ideas — don’t worry.
Inside The Digital Goldmine Club, I teach a step-by-step system to extract, filter, and refine your ideas until you land on your true winning one.
2️⃣ It needs to be Profitable.
Let’s be clear — not every idea deserves to become a digital product.
Just because it comes easy doesn’t mean people will pay for it.
Ensure your idea lives in a niche where people are already spending money to solve that problem — that’s how you turn knowledge into income.
Ask yourself: Is this something people are already spending money on?
That’s what I call an easy-yes niche — a space where buyers are actively looking for solutions and ready to pay for them.
💸 The top three profitable categories are:
- Health
- Wealth
- Relationships
But don’t stop there — sub-niches like parenting, productivity, self-growth, career development, and side hustles are also thriving.
The goal is simple:
Position your product as the solution people are already looking for.
And to make your life easier, I’ve done the research for you — I created a free guide with the Top 10 Profitable Niches + 100 Digital Product Ideas to help you find your lane.

Your Assignment
If your sales are random or inconsistent, go back to the drawing board and ask yourself:
“Is my digital product idea really a winning one?”
Does it come easy for you?
And is it an easy yes for your audience?
If you can’t confidently say yes to both — that’s your homework.
